About Us

The Joie Baker is a home-based bakery. ‘Joie’ means joy in French. We would like to share our happiness with the people around us by our desserts. We are proud of our less sweet desserts.

We started with baking only for Chinese New Year and sold only to family and friends. We received quite a decent amount of positive feedback for the sweetness level of the cookies, which is just right especially for the elderly in the family. Then, we decided to open the market to the public and gratefully we received tons of positive feedback as well which motivates and inspired us to carry on providing less sweet quality desserts. 

Now, we have a few options for our desserts such as cakes and cookies. As promised, we will always produce less sweet desserts.
